Spice Club — Support

Need help with the Spice Club mobile app? You’re in the right place.

1. Pairing with your partner

Spice Club is played by two paired accounts.

Open Settings in the app.
Find Your pairing code — a 6-character key.
Share that key with your partner (the in-app Share button on the onboarding screen sends it as a message).
Your partner opens the app, taps I have a key → on the welcome screen, and pastes your code.

Once the key is accepted, both accounts are linked and you can start a game.

The code didn’t work. Make sure your partner is typing the 6-character key exactly as it appears (it is case-insensitive). If you recently unpaired and re-paired, your code may have changed — share the current one from Settings → Your pairing code.

I want to unpair. Open Settings → Unlink. Your decks and history stay on your own account; only the partner link is removed.

2. Subscription and free trial

Spice Club is a paid app with a 7-night free trial. One active subscription on either account unlocks Spice Club for both partners.

Start a trial / subscribe — tap Try Spice Club for free on the locked screen.
Cancel — go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, choose Spice Club, then Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep access until then.
Manage or change plan — same place as cancel.
Restore a previous purchase — in the app, open Settings → Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID you used originally.

I’m being charged but the app is locked. Tap Restore purchases in the app. If that doesn’t help, email us with your Apple receipt number and we’ll investigate.

My partner started a trial but I’m still locked. Make sure you are paired (see §1). One active subscription unlocks both partners, but the pairing must be in place first.

3. Account, data, and deletion

Delete your account — open Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, profile, custom cards, games, and coupons. Your partner is automatically unlinked.
Reset the app on this device — Settings → Reset all data wipes local state without deleting your account.
Export or access your data — email us and we’ll send you a copy.

4. Common questions

Why can my partner see this card I never picked? You only ever see cards your partner picked for you. If a card surprises you, it’s because your partner selected it during their setup. You can mark it Don’t show this card again to hide it from future games.

Can we play on the same iPhone? Spice Club is designed for two separate devices. Each partner installs the app on their own phone and pairs via the code.

Can I change the heat level mid-game? The heat level set in onboarding shapes the cards you receive. To adjust, open Settings and start a new game with a different heat setting.

Are my custom cards visible to anyone besides my partner? No. Custom cards are visible only to you and your paired partner.

Notifications aren’t arriving. Check that notifications are enabled for Spice Club in iOS Settings → Notifications → Spice Club. If they are on and nothing arrives, try toggling them off and on again, or reinstall the app.

5. Reporting a bug

Your iPhone model and iOS version.
The Spice Club version (shown in Settings → About).
What you were doing when the bug happened.
A screenshot or short screen recording if you can.

The more context, the faster we can fix it.
